Product Description

Mimetic Affinity Adsorbents Screening Column Kits are a range of pre-packed, re-usable columns designed to provide fast and accurate method development for most protein purification strategies. These columns are constructed using biocompatible Delrin®. They are supplied packed with 1ml volumes of high performance adsorbents in a kit form for a rapid selection of appropriate adsorbent for a given application. Once the adsorbent column is selected, it can be used for further method optimisation. Following on, the optimized conditions and the selected adsorbent column may be used to carry out a small-scale purification. Each Mimetic Affinity Adsorbent Screening Column Kit is supplied with appropriate connectors to allow the columns to be used with all the commercially available chromatography workstations. Individual columns can also be used with simple liquid delivery systems such as a peristaltic pump or syringe.
