Perfluorosorb® S is a fluorocarbon based polymeric adsorbent for the purification of plasmid DNA using a reverse-phase chromatographic approach. It’s highly porous structure, broad pH resistance and high binding capacity make it ideal for purification of supercoiled pDNA. Uniquely, the exceptional robustness of this adsorbent allows regeneration and depyrogenation with concentrated sodium hydroxide which enables its use for repetitive purification cycles. Perfluorosorb® S is used commercially by producers of high-grade DNA intended for use in therapeutic applications.
